My son has been pestering me to take him out to do "cool" things like rock-climbing at some farm (I didn't know we had rocky farms in Sg...), but as an office guy who only gets his exercise from climbing the stairs to my mother's flat, I'm in no condition to do anything that extreme. Still, it's not often that the kid initiates the interaction right, and I figure I'd better spend time with him while he's still ...

Hi All,
I was wondering if any of you will be going for the Dad & I Marathon in November this year? I'm considering signing up for it with my two sons and daughter. Anyone up for it?

QUESTION: Best way to communicate with unresponsive son?

Dear experts,
My son is 16 and has been addicted to computer games for the past two years. I have been trying to communicate with him for a long time now, even to the extent of buying him his favourite computer games in an effort to connect with him. However, he enjoys playing the games I buy him more than the time spent with me, and I am feeling increasingly alienated from him. How can I solve this problem?
